At Jubilee we aim to ensure that we meet the needs of all children so that every individual child makes good progress, meets their full potential and is fully included both academically and socially.
We believe that every child shares the right to a broad and balanced curriculum and are not discriminated against in any aspect of school life.
Quality First Teaching by the class teacher is at the core of this aim. All planning is therefore adapted and differentiated to ensure that all children can fully access the curriculum and suitable learning challenges are set for all.
We aim to identify early those children who have special educational needs, in accordance with the SEN Code of Practice, in order to address any issues and help them to make good progress.
If you are concerned about your child, please speak to your child’s class teacher in the first instance. An appointment can also be made with the school’s SENCO. They will be able to advise you on the range of support available and what would best meet the needs of your child. All support given will be measured according to the aims of the intervention agreed.
